Well, yesterday was my official last day of work. It is wonderful to feel free to simply take care of myself and my little one now. It was sad to say goodbye to everyone, though. I've really appreciated all the great people I worked with and I will definitely miss seeing them everyday. I have promised, of course, to stop by and say hi every now and again. And, I'll bring the baby by for everyone to meet him/her.
So, with that last day out of the way, I have absolutely NO MORE COMMITTMENTS on the calendar. And that is a good feeling! Hopefully I'll get a little bit of rest (and this morning has been beautiful and wonderful) and then this little monster will decide it's time to come out and greet this big, amazing world.
Today is the Salt Lake City Marathon. So, I'm pretty much stuck in my house. The courses for several of the races wrap really close around our residence. When we moved to SLC, my goal was to run the marathon in April. Obviously, that didn't quite work out as I have an entirely different kind of marathon I'm about to begin. Anyway, I mention the marathon because I've hoped all along that I would have this child this weekend - because then I'd get my SLC marathon at the same goal time - and, it just so happens that today is also the full moon! I don't really know what attracts me so much to the idea of giving birth during a full moon, but I just think it's cool. Anyway, this is all to say: I'm incredibly antsy today. I want to have this baby. Now.
Also, total side note, Seth and I just purchased a fun new camera for the months ahead. We've been taking pictures and will soon have plenty to post for y'all, but our computer is not currently reading our memory card correctly. So, please be patient with us, you'll get a chance to "see" us again soon.

Congrats on your last day!!
Welcome to the Canon side of life! You will love it- no doubt. Now, you can fill your days with experimenting with the camera until baby Tippin comes! I'm glad we talked today. I'll call you in a few days!
Hooray for your last day of work and no more committments :) I absolutely understand how antsy you are to meet your little one but do take advantage of the days that he/she is giving you to relax! How exciting that you got a new camera....I can't wait to see pictures!
